Yesterday's Star-Bulletin featured an informative piece on Hawaii's appellate courts, especially the Intermediate Court of Appeals whose influence has grown, according to the article, after a 2006 change in appellate procedure made the ICA the principal body charged with resolving appeals and made the Supreme Court mainly a court of discretionary review. The article also features short bios of the ICA's six judges.
