There is a famers market in Kilauea. But this Kilauea Farmers Market is a little grocery market and sandwich counter that sells such things as great fresh greens, tropical fruits, chevre and feta from the Wooten's goat farm down the road... It also sells a good selection of wines!

I bought a bottle of that Cline Ancient Vine Zinfandel in the picture on the strength of the hand written note below it. It was great, fulfilling all the promises of complexity and explosiveness on the card. (Later I picked up a bottle of that Four Vines next to it when my local wine shop person recommended it, and it rocked as well). Those hand-written wine notes are great - in many cases much better at describing what's in the bottle than the label on the back. Sadly, the guy who writes them, and who orders the wines for the shop, is leaving to work somewhere in the wine business in California.
