Last night's lunar eclipse over Hawaii

Hawai'i residents who stay up late tonight will be treated to an unusually showy full eclipse of the moon.

- The Honolulu Advertiser

These were shot from my back lanai between 10 pm and midnight. A neighbor popped by - maybe to make sure I wasn't taking pictures through her windows - and was inspired to retrieve her camera and tripod. Mrs. Foster got the kids up to see the red moon around midnight. So we had a little lunar eclipse party on the lanai.

Nice pics, Charley. I added a link to this entry from my blog post on the eclipse.
